Our new shop opens in Crookes
09/07/2010
A queue of eager shoppers formed before the doors had even opened to the public for the first time!
The shop, which sells clothes, accessories, books, videos, bric-a-brac and a whole host of other products, has benefited from the expert touch of Janet Holden, a visual merchandiser from John Lewis, who had been treated at the hospital for breast cancer. Janet is currently managing the shop whilst on secondment from John Lewis.
The new shop will help to raise vital funds for the charity; however, we are still in need of more volunteers to help ensure that the opening hours can be covered. If you could spare a few hours per week to help out, please contact the charity office on 0114 226 5370.
A lot of hard work has gone into the opening of the new shop, and we would like to say a big thank you to all those involved, especially project manager Peter, who has been overseeing the project since before Christmas.
We have had some really good quality items donated, so make sure you pay us a visit to avoid missing any bargains!
